Musicphilia - Love for music, is a visual ethnography - photo documentary project which records the lives of Independent musicians during lockdown. As the entire world was stalled and wrapped in uncertainty, most of us found solace in music.
Albeit the musician themselves, felt the obvious dissociation without live performances. I tried to meet them & photograph what was left of music in silence - in a photobook "Keys".

Acts of men - a short film, (developed as a part of a module for film theory & technique) showcases the idea of time, movement & action in an eerie manner to emphasis the distance between the viewer & the subject, sometimes by breaking the "third wall".

This project is a research on designing space & narrativizing trauma in the form of spatial & visual interaction. The narrative latched onto the tangibility of childhood trauma and life that goes on parallelly. I was mindful of designing a space which was comforting and felt safe when dealing with such a complex topic and the viewer left with a feeling of resilience.
An entire walkthrough was designed with 4 different touch point -
1. Space as a catalyst,
2. The film - narrative
3. Photo material & writing, which helped with allegorical grounding
4. Community interaction
